2014年9月12日,美国厚仁教育全体员工在位于美国宾夕法尼亚州的Cook’s Forest进行了一年一度的员工培训活动。此次内部培训特别邀请了厚仁教育的总裁白泊恩博士为员工进行授课。他以丰富的教学实践经验,从保持公司可持续发展的角度出发,分别从公司的使命愿景,核心价值,商业道德等三个方面为员工进行了深度剖析。

厚仁教育董事长兼创始人白泊恩博士,拥有匹兹堡大学教育学院教育学专业的哲学博士学位,在美国40多年的教育管理事业中,曾先后担任匹兹堡市公立学区总监以及多所美国高校的校长。

在培训期间,白泊恩博士强调高素质的中美服务团队是公司的核心竞争力。立足美国,丰富优质的合作院校,顾客至上的服务理念,以及24小时个性化服务是公司的核心价值,为公司的可持续发展提供了强有力的支持。此外,秉承做良心教育咨询的原则,厚仁教育已加入了国际教育工作者协会(NAFSA) ,并且正在接受美国国际招生协会 (AIRC)的培训审核。国际教育工作者协会主要针对于国际化教育各方面的议题,云集世界各地高校、国际教育决策者、教育机构专业人士等权威顾问一起研究、讨论。其一年一度的年会,堪称是全球最大的国际教育界盛会。美国国际招生协会集结了国内外各大中介机构与美国高校,旨在制定一套符合美国国情的通过中介机构招收国际学生的行业标准。

为了更好的让员工了解公司客户至上的企业文化,白泊恩博士将所有员工分成了5个小组,每个小组被分配到了一份公司的政策文件。活动的规则是每个小组在熟读了相关政策后举出一个违反了公司相应章程的单词。各组经过激烈的讨论,disclose, breach和negligence等词被提了出来,白泊恩博士将这些单词一一写在黑板上,然后说:“是的,我们和竞争者最大的不同就是我们永远从学生的角度出发,我们要做最为学生着想的良心教育咨询构。”这简单的一句,便概括了厚仁最核心的经营理念。

培训结束后,全体员工在Cook Forest进行了野外拓展训练,大家在原始森林中谈笑前行,苍翠的林海中回荡着欢声笑语,林间的空地上我们用树枝画出大大的WR(WholeRen的缩写),山顶的高塔上留下了那些年轻而充满了活力的身影。夜幕之下的密林中,所有人席地而坐,围着篝火,分享着彼此一段段令人惊叹的人生旅程。通过这样一次轻松却寓意深远的培训,每一位厚仁成员都更加明确了公司的使命以及核心竞争力。同时,这样脱离了工作环境的相处,融于自然中的游玩互动也使得员工之间彼此更加了解和信任,无形中提高了整个公司的凝聚力与团队合作意识,这些无疑都将为公司未来的发展壮大提供最强有力的保证!

 Build up a sustainable and ethical image of WholeRen Education

 

In order to strengthen the customer-oriented culture as well as develop team spirit to reinforce the cohesion of employees, WholeRen Education LLC organized the annual staff training on Sep. 12th at Cook’s Forest. Brian White, the chairman and top advisor of WholeRen, was invited to training the employees. With years of educational management experiences, from the perspective of maintaining the sustainable development of the company, Brian shared the vision & mission, core competitive advantages, and ethics code of WholeRen with all the employees.

Dr. Brian J. White has been dedicated to education for more than 40 years. His educational positions range from high school history teacher to Regional Superintendent in Pittsburgh public schools. Mrs. White has been working in the field of higher education for more than 30 years in a large community college, in which 65,000 students were enrolled.

During the training processes, Dr. Brian emphasized that the high quality, highly educated, and highly efficient teamwork between Chinese and American professionals was one of company’s core competitiveness. Founded in the U.S., abundant quality resources of American institutions, customer-oriented culture, and 24 hours personalized counseling are company’s core values. Moreover, adhering to provide the ethical services to customers, WholeRen education has joined the NAFSA and is awaiting approval from the AIRC recently. NAFSA is a non-profit professional organization for professionals in all areas of international education including education abroad advising, international students advising, campus internationalization, and overseas advising. AIRC is the only U.S. membership association concerned solely with quality assurance in international student recruitment as well as sets standards and offers certification for student recruitment agencies.

With the purpose of strengthening ethical business, Dr. Brian divided all employees into five groups, and each group was assigned a company policy file. After familiar with each policy, a word which represents violation of a policy needed to be illustrated by each group. Based on the rule, disclose, breach, negligence, and few words was put forward. After the activity, Dr. Brian reiterated the mission & vision of WholeRen Education which is to provide the student-oriented services and being the most ethical education consulting company compared to competitors.

Through this retreat and related hiking activities, employees are more clearly about the company’s mission and core competitiveness. Meanwhile, the company’s training improved the cohesion of teamwork, which provides a powerful cornerstone to keep a sustainable development of WholeRen Education.
