American Homestay Services is accredited by the Council on Standards for International Educational Travel (CSIET), a standard committee on international and cultural exchange services. Our Leadership

Dr. Brian White

Co-founder, President

Dr. Brian White is President of WholeRen Group. Brian is responsible for corporate strategy, school relations, and academic exchange programs. He has been a lifetime educator. Before founding WholeRen in 2010, he has served as an administrator in all levels of education, from elementary school through college. Honored with several Fulbright Fellowships, he has more than 30 years of experience working in the public and private sectors of American education. He received his Bachelor and Master of Science degrees in Education from Duquesne University, and a Doctor of Philosophy degree from the University of Pittsburgh.

Andrew Hang Chen

Co-founder, Chief Learning Officer

Andrew Hang Chen is the Chief Learning Officer of WholeRen Group. Andrew is responsible for corporate growth, client and partner relations, and venture initiatives. Before founding WholeRen, he was an international student himself before working as a senior engineer for over 10 years. Since devoting into international education field, he has consulted and helped over 4,000 Chinese students and parents and published over 600 original articles. He is often featured in mainstream media reports and is viewed as a trusted expert in international education topics. He received his Master of Science degree in Nuclear and Computer Science from the University of Missouri.

Cho-yun Hsu

Honorary AdvisorCho-yun Hsu is the Honorary Advisor of WholeRen Group. A historian, it is him who gave the name of “Whole Ren” in 2009. Mr. Hsu is often consulted by leaders in WholeRen Group on corporate strategies and student services. He is the root reason why WholeRen Group has such a deep understanding in education and cultural exchange. He received a Doctor of Humanities degree from the University of Chicago in 1962. He is an Emeritus Professor of History and Sociology at the University of Pittsburgh, and has served in honorary positions in several universities including Duke University, Nanjing University, and Chinese University of Hong Kong.
