2016 U.S. News美国综合大学排名新鲜出炉!

2016年U.S. News美国综合大学排名于2015年9月9日正式发布。此次U.S. News美国大学研究除了公布常规榜单之外,还第一次以科技、设施、学术、课程和环境等方面作为考评因素公布最具创新性的大学排名,以及相关的分析文章,帮助学生和家长了解美国大学的申请流程。

 

关于U.S.News排名

US News and World Report(简称US News)是一本与《时代》和《新闻周刊》齐名的新闻杂志,由《美国新闻》和《世界报道》两种杂志合并而成。1983年《美国新闻与世界报道》首次出版“美国最佳学院”排名,自1985年以后成为年度专版。

U.S.News的排名基于卡耐基高等教育机构分类法,将大学分类为综合性大学、文理学院、地方性大学和地方性学院等分别进行排名。U.S.News排名涵盖高中、本科和研究生三个阶段,多达100多个专业,几乎遍及所有常见的专业。U.S.News排名是目前最具权威和影响力的美国大学排名榜,为学生及家长明智地选择所要就读的学院提供了全面、丰富的信息,具有非常重要的参考价值。

 

2016年综合大学“最高权力榜”

不论是各大排行榜单,还是教育界的业内评价,对前20名的大学(尤其是前10名),有着很强的趋同认识。2016年美国综合大学排行榜前20名几乎没有任何变化,这些学校的地位惊人的稳定。在强调研究性,并且提供本科学位、研究生学位和博士学位的综合性大学中, 位于新泽西州的普林斯顿再次夺得了榜首,与紧追其后的哈佛大学、耶鲁大学一起继续领跑前三名!

 

前十名中的一些细微变化也十分值得注意,比如University of Pennsylvania排名从去年的第8掉到了第9,而Johns Hopkins University成功晋升前十名。在加州大学系统中,去年排名第3的UCSD (University of California—San Diego)被UCSB (University of California—Santa Barbara)和UCI (University of California—Irvine)超越。本次排名中的几匹黑马也格外引人注目,比如波士顿学院 (Boston College)跻身前30,杜兰大学由去年的54名冲到41名!
